About this archive
- What this is
- Fifteen self-contained detective cases for one player. The first case in every drawer is free; a Pro pass opens the rest. No account, no download — everything runs in your browser. Written for adults and older teens who like a fair mystery.
- How it works
- Read the statements, search the rooms, name the killer. The 3D Locked Rooms take about twenty minutes; the longer files run from an hour to an evening. Your progress is saved in this browser.
- Why tonight
- Every case has exactly one solution, and the clues give you exactly enough. Nobody is coming to help. That is the appeal.
How your data is handled
The games. Everything runs in your browser. Your progress, hints used, the language you chose and your Pro pass code are kept in your browser’s local storage, on your own device. They never leave it, and clearing your browser data removes them. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking.
The note form. Only if you send a note do we receive what you typed: your message, and your name and e-mail address if you chose to give them. It reaches us as an e-mail, delivered by FormSubmit, which handles the submission and does not keep your message afterwards. We use it solely to read your note and reply, keep it until it has been dealt with, and share it with nobody. Send an e-mail to the address below if you want it deleted.
Hosting. The site is served by GitHub Pages, which logs the IP address of every visitor for security reasons, as any web host does. We do not see or use those logs.
The Pro pass. Purchases go through Ko-fi under Ko-fi’s own privacy terms. Nothing about a purchase comes back to this site.
Who is responsible. Kellie van de Kerkhof, the person behind graveyardfiles.com, reachable at kellievandekerkhof@gmail.com. Under the GDPR you may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
